Rosie has recently graduated with a degree in Equine Business Studies from the Royal Agricultural University, Cirencester. With her dissertation looking into the effects of different treatments of forage on air quality while travelling horses. Rosie has experience in several spheres of the equine industry working on livery yards, caring for hunt horses and polo ponies in addition to competing show jumping and eventing.
Working and competing within the industry in addition to studying equine at the RAU sparked a particular interest for the care of competition horses. This lead onto the investigating the effect treating forage would have on the respirable air particles while travelling horses as well as any possible health implications.
