I was born and brought up in Berkshire. Horses have always been in my blood and at the age of two I was in the showing ring doing lead rein classes. Being a member of the Old Berks Pony Club began my passion for eventing. I have been fortunate enough to produce a small string of horses from beginners up to advanced level.
In 2011, aged 19, I suffered a traumatic brain injury as a result of a riding accident. In a bid to understand the darkness and depression I was in I began to write blogs. From there I was asked by an equestrian magazine to write about the accident and how I moved forward and got back to competing. Eight months after the accident I completed my first BE advanced. This also began my love of writing and I have since been a regular reporter for several well known equestrian magazines.
As well as competing in eventing and show jumping I enjoy riding out racehorses for both flat and national hunt trainers.
